Carriage House Animal Hospital is a locally owned full service companion animal veterinary clinic located in Kasson, MN. We offer in house diagnostics such as blood work and radiographs. Ultrasound and orthopedic surgeries are performed by board certified specialists that travel to our clinic. If your pet needs specialized testing we have a relationship with an outside reference lab for anything that your pet may require.

Our facility has a dedicated surgery room along with separate dog and cat kenneling areas. We keep commonly used medications on hand in our hospital pharmacy. Emergency services are available to current clients until 10 pm.

Meet The Carriage House Team

Dr. Jennifer Kelly

DVM & Owner

Dr. Kelly was born and raised in Kasson, MN. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls and veterinary school at the University of Minnesota. After graduation she came back to practice in her hometown and has enjoyed working with companion animals since. She is a third-generation veterinarian and spends her spare time riding her two quarter horses, hiking with her black lab and schnoodle, snowboarding, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Kristi Ackman

DVM & Owner

Dr. Ackman is a Wisconsinite and crossed the Mississippi River for a job in Minnesota. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison Veterinary School. She started her career as a Mixed Animal practitioner, became a large animal practitioner for 7 years, and in 2021 came to us as a full-time companion animal veterinarian. Since becoming a full-time companion animal veterinarian, she says that her fingers and toes are much happier in the winter. She enjoys reading, going for walks, running, playing board games, and hanging out with friends and family.

Dr. Daniel Krupa

DVM & Owner

Dr. Krupa graduated from Ohio State Veterinary School in 1992. He joined the practice in 1998. He began practice as a large animal veterinarian and transitioned to a companion animal practitioner.

Dr. Ross Bailey

DVM & Former Owner

Dr Bailey graduated from the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medicine in 1981 and has been at Carriage House as a large animal vet since 1983. He currently lives in Rochester, MN with his wife Joy.

Dr. Ashley LeBrun

Associate DVM

Dr. Lebrun grew up near Lonsdale, MN. She completed her undergraduate coursework at Minnesota State University, Mankato and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. In addition to dogs and cats, she enjoys working with cattle, goats, sheep, and other livestock. She’s excited to join our team as a mixed animal veterinarian. Outside of work, you’ll find her tending to her hobby farm. She has a couple of dairy cows, trained steer, Nubian goats, and Sebastopol geese. She also has a lab mix named Lady and 3 cats named Boots, Socks and Flipflop.

Our companion animal services are for dogs and cats only.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover credit cards and Care Credit. We also accept cash and local checks. We expect payment at the time of service.

Care Credit is a credit card that can be used on healthcare and petcare purchases. The application can be found on CareCredit’s website.

Please call during normal business hours to have your prescription refilled. Press option 3 to leave us a detailed message with your first and last name, your pet’s name, prescription information, quantity requested, and a phone number to reach you at. Prescriptions will be filled within 24 hours.

We carry a variety of diets to best fit your pet’s needs. Our maintenance diets are made by IVet and include canine and feline adult or weight management, large breed puppy, small breed puppy, or kitten. We also stock several prescription diets by Royal Canin, Purina Pro Plan and Hill’s Science Diet.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first appointment so that you have time to fill our new client paperwork. Please bring any previous records you have or email them to the clinic in advance. If your pet has a special treat or toy that will help make their experience better, feel free to bring it along. If not, we have a variety of treats to choose from. You can expect to meet with one of our certified veterinary technicians where they will ask you general health history questions. Soon after one of our doctors will be in to address any concerns you may have with your pet.

To help prevent diseases, puppies and kittens need multiple boosters of their vaccinations when they are young. Many breeders also require an initial wellness visit with your veterinarian. As soon as you know the date of your pet’s last vaccination please call our office to schedule.
